The 2025 NFL season is underway, and five former Hoosiers saw the field in week four.

Here’s a quick overview of how they performed.

Dan Feeney – Tampa Bay Buccaneers, OL

Feeney was active in week four but did not play in his second game with the Bucs.  He has played in 120 games over the last eight seasons.  Tampa Bay is his fifth NFL team on the active roster.

Luke Haggard – Tampa Bay Buccaneers, OL

After spending the last two years on Tampa Bay’s practice squad, Haggard made his NFL debut last week.  He made his second straight start this past Sunday.

Haggard played all 72 snaps on offense and five on special teams in a loss to Philadelphia.  At PFF he received a below average pass blocking grade and a poor run blocking grade.

Cam Jones – New York Jets, LB

Jones played one snap on defense and did not record any stats.  He played 20 special teams snaps in week four on five different units against Miami.  He posted a tackle and had the third-highest overall special teams grade on the team.

On the season, Jones has three tackles in four games.

Marcelino McCrary-Ball – New York Jets, LB

McCrary-Ball suffered a hamstring injury in week three and was placed on injured reserve last week.  He will miss at least three more games.

On the season, McCrary-Ball has 17 tackles and a forced fumble in three games.

Micah McFadden – New York Giants, LB

McFadden did not play in week four.  He is on injured reserve with a long-term foot injury.

Before the injury during week one, McFadden had three tackles and a quarterback hit.  This is his fourth season in the NFL.  He has 270 tackles, 26 tackles for loss and six sacks for his career.

Myles Price – Minnesota Vikings, PR, KR, WR

After going undrafted this spring, Price is the starting punt returner and kickoff returner for the Vikings.

In a loss to Pittsburgh, he returned two punts for 13 yards (6.5 average).  He added two kickoffs for 47 yards (23.5 average).  He has the most punt returns (14), and combined punt and kickoff returns (26) in the NFL through four weeks.

On the season Price is averaging 11.1 yards per punt return, and 23.4 per kickoff return.

Ian Thomas – Las Vegas Raiders, TE

Now in his eighth year, Thomas is currently the second longest-tenured former Hoosier in the NFL.  After playing with the Carolina Panthers his first seven years, Thomas is now with the Raiders.

In a loss to Chicago, he played 29 offensive snaps and one special teams snap in week four and did not produce any stats.  He received a good pass blocking grade and mediocre run blocking grade by PFF.

Thomas does not have a reception this year.  He has 119 catches for 1,062 yards for his NFL career.

CJ West – San Francisco 49ers, DT

West has a broken thumb and did not play in week four.

He has two tackles in three games on his rookie season.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine – Miami Dolphins, WR

Now in his sixth year in the NFL after going undrafted, Westbrook-Ikhine is playing his first season with Miami.

In a win over the Jets, he played 27 offensive snaps, and had one reception for one yard on one target.  He played nearly half of the offensive snaps and is likely to see a larger role with Tyreek Hill being injured.  He played 11 snaps on three units on special teams.  His overall PFF grades were mediocre, but he was strong in run blocking.

Westbrook-Ikhine has 130 catches for 1,799 yards and 19 touchdowns for his six-year career.

    MORE NOTES:

Quarterback Kurtis Rourke is with the San Francisco 49ers on the injured list recovering from offseason knee surgery.

Former Hoosier Michael Penix, Jr. is the starting quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons, and tight end AJ Barner is playing a significant role for the Seattle Seahawks.  They finished their college careers with Washington and Michigan, respectively.  Former IU cornerback Kobee Minor has also seen the field this year for New England.
