IU basketball has added a class of 2027 commitment from German 7-footer Felix Kiehlneker.
One of his nation’s top players in his age group, the 18-year-old was Germany’s starting center for this summer’s FIBA U18 EuroBasket team. He plays professionally overseas in Germany’s second-tier professional league after moving up a level over the last year.
Playing for ratiopharm Ulm in 2025-26, Kiehlneker averaged 10.5 point, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game while shooting 60% from the field over 23.8 minutes per contest. He doesn’t attempt a high volume of threes to this point in his development.
Kiehlneker joins 4-star guard Chase Branham in Indiana’s 2027 class. He also visited USC on a recent trip to the United States and picked the Hoosiers over the Trojans.
Highlights of Kiehlneker are below.
