Class of 2028 wing Cole Kelly announced an offer from IU basketball on Thursday.
The 6-foot-6 lefty recently took a visit to Bloomington and received the offer during a conversation with head coach Darian DeVries.
A product of Naperville, Illinois, Kelly attends Neuqua Valley H.S. As a sophomore he averaged 19.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game, earned first-team All-State and was named the DuPage Valley Conference Player of the Year. He made 51% of his shots from the floor and knocked down more than 70 three-pointers.
In the average of the national rankings, Kelly is a 4-star, the No. 32 overall player in the class, and the No. 8 small forward.
Kelly has a complete game. He’s a skilled wing who can handle the ball, score inside and out, and plays with the toughness and physicality of a big man.
