IU basketball is getting a visit from class of 2028 4-star wing Isaac Smith next month.
He’ll visit Bloomington starting on Nov. 13, national 247Sports analyst Eric Bossi reported on X.
IU football hosts USC that weekend.
Indiana offered Smith a few months ago.
From Virginia, Smith attends Monarch Academy in Kansas City, Kansas. The IU staff has deep ties in both locations.
The 6-foot-6 Smith is a 4-star, the No. 34 overall player, and the No. 11 small forward in the composite rankings.
Smith is a classic wing, with length, athleticism and the ability to both shoot from the perimeter and score off the bounce.
As a sophomore, Smith attended Hargrave Military Academy, where he averaged 17.8 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists per contest.
For travel basketball Smith played for Team United on the Nike EYBL Circuit. He is averaging 12.8 points, 2.9 assists, and 1.4 steals while shooting 39.1 percent from three in those contests.
In addition to IU, Smith has offers from Kansas, Michigan, Cincinnati, Arizona State, Vanderbilt, West Virginia, Texas Tech, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Georgetown, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, N.C. State, and Mississippi State.
Indiana currently has no commits early in the 2028 cycle.
