After a series sweep in Waco against Baylor, things were looking up as the Hoosiers returned home last Tuesday to face off Purdue Fort Wayne. However, Indiana got caught off guard and dropped a mid-week game against the Mastodons. After cruising to a 12-6 victory against Miami (OH) last Tuesday, the Hoosiers stayed hot as they handled Baylor for the sweep in Waco. It marked the first time Indiana sweeps an away non-conference opponent since 2007. The offense shined over the weekend as Indiana scored a combined 29 runs across three games against the Bears. After coming away with a positive record in their season-opening weekend, Indiana baseball is now ranked No. 24, according to D1 Baseball.
