The start of college football season means the start of visit season, and IU will have plenty of high school prospects in Bloomington — both football and basketball.
The lengthy list of football visitors includes some prominent 5-star and 4-star commits and prospects.
Based on player posts and national reports, here are some of the more notable football visitors this weekend:
- 2027 in-state 5-star WR commit Monshun Sales
- 2027 in-state 4-star WR commit Brandon Sharpe
- 2027 in-state 4-star OL commit Mason McDermott
- 2027 Ohio 4-star DL commit Reinaldo Perez
- 2028 in-state 4-star S target Drake Coellner
- 2028 in-state 4-star DL target Javontae Eldridge
- 2028 Georgia 4-star Edge target Luke Nabors
- 2029 in-state 4-star LB target Austin Phillips
On the basketball side, 5-star class of 2027 center Darius Wabbington is in Bloomington for a weekend official visit. The Arizona native made IU the first of six planned visits this fall. He’ll also see Arizona, Illinois, Louisville, North Carolina and Texas.
The 6-foot-11 Wabbington is the No. 13 overall player and the No. 2 center in the 2027 class according to 247Sports.
