A junior center for Chaminade High School in St. Louis, the 6-foot-10 and 235-pound Reed averaged 21.8 points, 11.5 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 2.6 blocks per game. He led Chaminade to a 22-2 record as the school made its seventh state semifinal appearance in school history and its sixth in the last seven year, finishing third in Class Six.
IU offered Reed in October.
