National recruiting outlet Rivals continues to roll out new and updated basketball rankings this week.

For the first time the resource has published rankings for the class of 2025 — those players just starting their sophomore year of high school.

The state of Indiana has produced two players in the Rivals top-33, with Fishers, Ind. (Fishers H.S.) guard Jalen Haralson coming in at No. 26, and Santa Claus, Ind. (Heritage Hills, H.S.) forward Trent Sisley at No. 33.

The pair were teammates throughout the spring and summer playing for the 2024 Indy Heat Nike EYBL squad.  The IU staff had a large presence at their games throughout the live periods.  Indiana offered both players scholarships before their first high school games.

Both Haralson and Sisley took unofficial visits to IU in early August, and both have two more visits planned in Bloomington over the next three months.

For its first round of rankings for, Rivals only went with a top-40. Here is where the other players offered by Indiana in the 2025 class appeared in the initial Rivals rankings:

    • Koa Peat – No. 3
    • Darryn Peterson – No. 4
    • Bryson Tiller – No. 7
    • Mikel Brown – No. 11
    • Trey McKenney – No. 32

McKenney is planning to visit Indiana for Hoosier Hysteria in October.
