Indiana will host the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament for the third straight season.

The No. 4 seed in Albany Regional 1, Indiana will face No. 13 Fairfield (31-1) in the first round (Saturday, 1:30 p.m. ET, ESPN2).

Fairfield’s lone loss of the season came at Vanderbilt by three points.  They beat Rutgers by 24 on the road, and St. John’s by five on a neutral court.

If the Hoosiers advance they’ll face the winner of No. 5 Oklahoma and No. 12 Florida Gulf Coast at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.

Overall No. 1 seed South Carolina is the top seed in Indiana’s regional.  The Hoosiers would face the Gamecocks in the Sweet 16 if both teams advance.

IU will appear in the NCAA Tournament for the tenth time in school history and will make its fifth-straight tournament appearance.

Overall, Indiana is 9-9 all-time in the NCAA Tournament while tenth year head coach Teri Moren holds a record of 8-5 in her six appearances.

The No. 15 ranked Hoosiers finished the regular season with a 24-5 overall record and finished third in the Big Ten (15-3). Four players earned All-Big Ten honors this season led by graduate student forward Mackenzie Holmes and senior guard Sara Scalia on the first team. Nationally, Indiana leads the country in field goal percentage and 3-point field goal percentage, while its 10,000-plus average attendance is fifth in Division I this season while going 15-0 on its home court.

All-session and single game tickets for the first and second rounds in Bloomington are now on sale through the IU Ticket Office.
