Indiana has offered class of 2028 big man Hudson Hatch.
A product of Charleston, South Carolina, Hatch attends Christ School in Arden, North Carolina. That’s the same school that produced IU freshman wing Trevor Manhertz. They were teammates last year.
Christ School plays a national schedule in the EYBL Scholastic league. In 11 games there as a sophomore he averaged 7.3 points and 5.2 rebounds.
Hatch has a 4-star ranking from ESPN.
For travel basketball Hatch plays for Team Loaded on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit. He hit the game-winning three to lead that team to the 16u championship on the circuit. Hatch made 5 of 7 threes in the game. For the full spring and summer he posted 9.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.3 blocks. He made 29 threes in 19 games.
IU assistant coach Thomas Carr is a former director of that Team Loaded program.
Hatch also plays golf in high school and owns the school record 18-hole score.
In addition to Indiana, Hatch has offers from Oklahoma State, Richmond, Charleston and Campbell.
