IU basketball staff has offered class of 2028 guard Brady Pettigrew.
The 6-foot-4 Pettigrew averaged 20 points per game as a sophomore, to go with four rebounds and three assists for Bolingbrook H.S. in the Chicago area.
The 4-star prospect is the No. 14 overall player in the 2028 class, and the No. 1 point guard based on the industry average. He’s also the top player in Illinois in the class.
Pettigrew took an unofficial visit to Indiana in October.
For travel basketball, Pettigrew plays for Bradley Beal Elite on the Nike EYBL Circuit. He’s averaging 21.3 points per game this spring.
Pettigrew comes from a very athletic family. His mother Bonnie Bremner-Pettigrew was an All-American, the Big Ten Player of the Year and Big Ten Freshman of the Year during her volleyball career at Penn State, where she was the setter for a national championship team. His father Titcus Pettigrew played football and basketball for the Nittany Lions. His brother Trey played basketball collegiately at Eastern Michigan, and his brother JT plays at Valpo.
In addition to IU, thus far Pettigrew has high major offers from Texas A&M, USC, Florida State, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Penn State, NC State, Arizona State, Arkansas, Brigham Young, California, DePaul, Georgetown, Seton Hall, and Virginia Tech.
