Indiana will get a June visit from class of 2026 wing Sammy Jackson according to Dushawn London of 247Sports.

His visit is set for June 13-14 and will be followed by a visit to Texas on June 16-17.

Jackson also announced an offer from IU on Friday evening.

The 6-foot-7 Jackson attends Roman Catholic H.S. in Philadelphia.  He helped lead Roman to the PIAA 6A title game and averaged 13.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.2 steals per game.  He made 51 threes on his junior season.

Based on the average of the national recruiting sites, Jackson is a 3-star prospect, the No. 134 overall player in the class, and the No. 41 small forward.  Several recent reports have suggested he’s a strong candidate to move up the rankings this summer.  He’s a 4-star and top-100 prospect at 247Sports and ESPN.

Jackson is the son of former Temple and NBA player Marc Jackson.

247Sports national analyst Eric Bossi wrote this about Jackson last month:

“A 6-foot-7 do-it-all wing who has a way above average base of skills, he can play point guard for a stretch and then fluidly switch to playing as a small ball four man. He can shoot, he can pass and while he’s still a bit on the lean side, he’s got a tremendous frame to build on and should be able to blossom in a college weight room.”

Thus far Jackson has reported offers from Texas, Villanova, Penn State, Vanderbilt, Auburn, Arizona State, St. Joe’s, LaSalle, and Florida Gulf Coast.

Jackson plays for Team Final in the Nike EYBL.  He averaged 13 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.3 steals per game in the EYBL’s first session last month.
