The 2025 NFL season is underway, and seven former Hoosiers saw the field in week three.
Here’s a quick overview of how they performed.
Dan Feeney – Tampa Bay Buccaneers, OL
This week featured an IU invasion of the Tampa Bay offensive line.
Tampa Bay signed Feeney off Buffalo’s practice squad. He did not play in his first game with the Bucs. His return to a roster makes Feeney the active longest tenured former Hoosier in the NFL. He has played in 120 games over the last eight seasons. Tampa Bay is his fifth NFL team roster.
Luke Haggard – Tampa Bay Buccaneers, OL
After spending the last two years on Tampa Bay’s practice squad, Haggard made his NFL debut on Sunday against the Jets. Both Haggard and Feeney received opportunities after the Buccaneers had multiple injuries along their offensive line.
In a Tampa Bay win, Haggard started and played 72 snaps on offense and eight on special teams. At PFF he received average grades and was slightly better in run blocking than pass blocking.
He’s pictured above, No. 72.
Cam Jones – New York Jets, LB
Jones played 20 special teams snaps in week three on five different units against Tampa Bay. He did not produce any stats and earned a poor special teams grade on PFF.
Marcelino McCrary-Ball – New York Jets, LB
Playing alongside Jones, McCrary-Ball played 23 special teams snaps for the Jets on Sunday. He plays on five different special teams units.
He also played 38 snaps at linebacker on defense against Tampa Bay.
He was the second-highest graded defender on the Jets defense, and earned a respectable special teams grade as well.
In total McCrary-Ball had a productive afternoon with seven tackles, a career high. He also had two quarterback pressures.
Unfortunately, he suffered a hamstring injury and was placed on injured reserve Tuesday. He didn’t leave the game but will miss at least the next four.
Micah McFadden – New York Giants, LB
McFadden did not play in week three. He is on injured reserve with a long-term foot injury.
Before the injury during week one, McFadden had three tackles and a quarterback hit. This is his fourth season in the NFL. He has 270 tackles, 26 tackles for loss and six sacks for his career.
Myles Price – Minnesota Vikings, PR, KR, WR
After going undrafted this spring, Price is the starting punt returner and kickoff returner for the Vikings.
Price had a strong day as punt returner in a win over Cincinnati. He returned five punts for 68 yards (13.6 average). He added two kickoffs for 50 yards (25 average). He has the most combined punt and kickoff returns in the NFL through three weeks.
He also saw 10 snaps with the Vikings offense but was not targeted.
Ian Thomas – Las Vegas Raiders, TE
Now in his eighth year, Thomas is currently the second longest-tenured former Hoosier in the NFL. After playing with the Carolina Panthers his first seven years, Thomas is now with the Raiders.
In a loss at Washington he played 19 offensive snaps and seven special teams snaps in week two and did not produce any stats. He received a poor overall offensive grade at PFF, primary due to his run blocking. He also played 13 special teams snaps on two different units and received an average grade.
Thomas has 119 catches for 1,062 yards for his NFL career.
CJ West – San Francisco 49ers, DT
The rookie defensive lineman saw the field in week three for the 49ers. He broke his thumb in the game and had surgery on Tuesday. There’s a chance he’ll play this weekend in a cast.
West had the first two tackles and the first QB pressure of his career in a win over the Cardinals.
He played 14 snaps on defense and produced average grades, influenced by a missed tackle.
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine – Miami Dolphins, WR
Now in his sixth year in the NFL after going undrafted, Westbrook-Ikhine is playing his first season with Miami.
In a loss at Buffalo he played 15 offensive snaps, was not targeted and received average grades at PFF. He played 11 snaps on three units on special teams and received good grades.
Westbrook-Ikhine has 129 catches for 1,798 yards and 19 touchdowns for his six-year career.
