One week of the 2021 NFL season is now complete for former IU stars with teams in the league.

Take a look at how they all did with our quick recap of the Hoosiers in the NFL.

Tevin Coleman (RB) – New York Jets

Coleman got the start and played on 17 offensive snaps for the New York Jets on Sunday.

He finished the game with nine carries for 24 yards in the Jets 19-14 loss to the Carolina Panthers.

Dan Feeney (OL) – New York Jets

Feeney started all 16 games and played 100 percent of the offensive snaps last year for the Los Angeles Chargers. He also played in 16 percent of the special teams snaps.

However, now with the Jets Feeney is a backup offensive lineman and did not appear in Sunday’s game.

Brandon Knight (OL) – Dallas Cowboys

The 2021 season marks Brandon Knight’s third in the NFL and third with the Dallas Cowboys.

For his career, he has appeared in 20 games while starting 10.

He is currently listed as the backup LT on the Cowboys depth chart and was on the Reserve/Covid-19 list for week one.

Rodger Saffold (OL) – Tennessee Titans

Saffold started at left guard for the Tennessee Titans on Sunday to open the 2021 NFL season, a 38-13 home loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

The Titan offense struggled to get going, gaining only 248 total yards, good for 3.9 yards per play.

Saffold has now appeared in 146 NFL games with 143 starts.  He is the longest tenured Hoosier in the NFL.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine (WR) – Tennessee Titans

After appearing in 14 regular season games with one start during the 2020 NFL season, Westbrook appeared in the Titans opening game on Sunday.

He played on 38 percent of the offensive snaps and 44 percent of the special teams snaps.

Furthermore, Westbrook finished the game with one reception for 10 yards on two targets.

Ian Thomas (TE) – Carolina Panthers

Ian Thomas started at tight end for the Panthers against the Jets, appearing in 55 percent of the offensive snaps and 14 percent of the special teams snaps.

On two targets, Thomas had one reception for 17 yards.

Jason Spriggs (OL) – Atlanta Falcons

Spriggs is in his fifth NFL season and first with Atlanta. In the Falcons opening game against the Eagles, he played two offensive and two special teams snaps in the Falcons 32-6 loss.

Spriggs has played in 45 career games, registering nine starts.

Jamar Johnson (DB) – Denver Broncos

Jamar Johnson was drafted in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos.

He made the 53-man roster but was inactive for Denver’s week one win against the New York Giants.
