It was a game that felt eerily similar to the Duke contest back in November, with Indiana hanging with a top 5 team virtually wire to wire only to melt down at the end. Indiana basketball 2018 recruiting target Romeo Langford had two games over the weekend, both New Albany wins. On Friday night the Bulldogs dominated Evansville North 112-43. Langford scored 38 points on the night. On Saturday New Albany again rolled, this time taking down Jasper 87-44. Langford again scored 38 points on the night. New Albany (15-1), who is ranked No. 3 in Class 4A, won their 12th straight game. Langford would need to average 41.9 points over his remaining games and have his team reach the state finals in order to surpass Damon Bailey and become the state’s all-time leading scorer. …
