Recruiting service Rivals finally caught up to what the rest of us have known for a long time — Logan Duncomb is good at basketball. The talented 6-foot-10 center moved up 51 spots Rivals’ latest class of 2021 rankings, the highest move of anyone in the class.  Duncomb is now a 4-star recruit and the No. 88 player overall at Rivals.  A couple weeks ago he jumped 12 spots to No. 63 at 247Sports. Class of 2022 offensive lineman Landen Livingston is quickly making a name for himself in northeast Indiana. Hailing from Leo, Ind., the 6-foot-4 and 280 pound Livingston is rated as the No. 592 player overall nationally according to the 247Sports Composite, and the No. 58 offensive tackle. Former IU defensive back Marcus Floyd joined the Life and Football podcast. Originally a University of Florida commit, Floyd ended up in Bloomington from 1997 to 2001.  He began his college career as a running back, and recorded a 105 yard rushing performance against Cincinnati in 1998.  After switching to cornerback, Floyd led IU with three interceptions during his final season in 2001. Just a few days after he was fired by Indiana University, coaching legend Bob Knight addressed students and fans at Dunn Meadow on the IU campus on Sept. 13, 2000. 2020 will be remembered for many things. Add the year of the Indiana baseball pitcher to the mix. Former IU ace Jonathan Stiever will make his Major League Baseball debut on Sunday as first reported by James Fegan of The Athletic.  He will become the third former IU pitcher to make his first appearance in the MLB this season. The decision Big Ten Commissioner Kevin Warren said would not be revisited — is about to be revisited. Multiple reports throughout the week have indicated that the league’s presidents and chancellors could vote again on whether or not to play fall sports including football as soon as Sunday.
