Indiana’s backcourt will get a boost on Monday as the Hoosiers open Big Ten play against Minnesota. Guard Kanaan Carlyle is not listed on the Big Ten’s availability report ahead of the contest in Bloomington. Carlyle was a starter in IU’s first six games before he suffered an undisclosed injury in The Bahamas.  Trey Galloway has been the starter for the Hoosiers in Carlyle’s absence. Carlyle, a sophomore transfer from Stanford, has struggled on the offensive end thus far.  The 6-foot-3 combo guard is averaging 4.5 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game while shooting just 27% from the…

The results have exceeded the expectations of many, as Indiana reached its first College Football Playoff after what has easily been one of the three best seasons in program history. But on Monday the University made an…

With eight homes games on the docket in 2024, Indiana opened the season with a strong chance to threaten their all-time single season home attendance record if things went well. And after a sluggish start from an attendance standpoint, one of the best seasons in program history saw IU break its record by a wide margin. First-year coach Curt Cignetti began quoting the movie Field of Dreams in the summer, this time divining a pilgrimage to Bloomington instead of Iowa. Curt Cignetti’s coaching staff is replete with attractive targets to other programs with job openings around the country. That’s one of the many reasons why Cignetti’s new contract signed a few weeks ago included terms to ensure his assistants were some of the best paid anywhere in college football. But those measures will only go so far as several up-and-coming IU assistants look to capitalize on the staff’s recent success and earn well deserved promotions. One, and most likely only one, is leaving after Indiana’s historic 11-1 season. IU quarterbacks coach Tino Sunseri is expected to become the next offensive…
