Make that three IU football games that have sold out for the 2025 season. Indiana announced on Tuesday afternoon their October home games against Michigan State and UCLA no longer have tickets available.  The school previously announced the Sept. 20 home game against Illinois has sold out as well. Going back to last season, Indiana has now sold out seven home games over the last two seasons. Indiana safety Louis Moore has at least two more weeks of eligibility based on the latest filings in his case against the NCAA. Moore and the NCAA have reached a temporary agreement described as follows in a document posted in the Dallas County Texas court portal. “The NCAA agrees to take no action with respect to Plaintiff’s (Moore’s) eligibility or ability to compete in any intercollegiate activities, based upon violations of any eligibility rules at issue in the First Amended Petition, through and including September 24, 2025.” This means Moore is eligible to play this Friday evening when Indiana hosts…

The 2025 NFL season is underway, and seven former Hoosiers saw the field in week one. Here’s a quick overview of how they performed. Cam Jones – New York Jets After two seasons with Kansas City, Jones was picked up off waivers by the Jets.  He played 20 special teams snaps in the Sunday opener and produced two tackles. Marcelino McCrary-Ball – New York Jets Playing alongside Jones, McCrary-Ball played 26 special teams snaps for the Jets on Sunday. He also played 11 snaps at linebacker on defense. Below we took a look at Pro Football Focus (PFF) grades, notes and snap counts from their week two contest vs. Kennesaw State. With solid overall grades this week, the Hoosiers moved up 43 spots to No. 18 overall at PFF.  They have the No. 12 offense and No. 34 defense. It raised some eyebrows when IU coach Curt Cignetti said in the spring redshirt freshman Albert Mendoza was the likely backup quarterback for the Hoosiers in 2025. It wasn’t as if anyone doubted eventually Alberto would be ready for the spotlight in Bloomington, but from the outside the frame of reference was relatively thin — and a bit unconvincing. Indiana’s injury report for today’s game against Kennesaw State contains no major surprises, but certainly some concerns at safety and punter. As reported earlier this week, veteran safety Bryson Bonds is out for the season.  His absence will be felt on special teams and on the depth chart. Indiana is in the final five for class of 2026 5-star center Arafan Diane, according to a report by Joe Tipton of Rivals.  Diane confirmed the news on his Instagram page. Diane will take an official visit to IU in October during homecoming weekend. Joining IU in Diane’s final five are Arkansas, Houston, Kentucky, and Virginia.  He previously cut his list down to 12 schools.
