Official visit season begins this weekend for IU basketball, and already the schedule is in a state of fluctuation. Class of 2026 4-star forward Davion Adkins will no longer visit IU the weekend of Sept. 12 as previously planned.  The 6-foot-8 Adkins will instead focus on Kansas, Rutgers, and Houston according to Joe Tipton of Rivals. The Adkins news came around the same time that 2026 forward Latrell Allmond postponed his visit this weekend to Kansas.  The overlap with Kansas and Indiana involving those 6-foot-8 national top-40 prospects seems notable.  Allmond took his official visit to Indiana in June and…

Indiana safety Louis Moore is eligible to play in the first two games of the 2025 season after a Texas judge extended his temporary restraining order against the NCAA to Sept. 10. But Moore’s eligibility for the remainder of the 2025 season, beginning with a Friday, Sept. 12 game vs. Indiana State, remains in question. Moore had been widely viewed as IU’s starting free safety before the NCAA lawsuit. This latest development leaves the IU staff in a challenging situation, as they must decide whether and/or how much to play Moore in the first two games while facing the possibility…

A lot can change along the three-hour drive from Bloomington to Fort Wayne. For IU football head coach Lee Corso, what changed in late 1982 was his understanding of his job status as head coach of the Hoosiers. Driving to Fort Wayne to visit elite prospect Rod Woodson, Corso apparently heard he had been fired while listening to the radio in his car along the way. Perhaps because he was still in disbelief of what he heard — and with no cell phones to confirm — Corso’s pursuit of Fort Wayne Snider H.S. phenom Rod Woodson did not immediately change.…

Myles Price didn’t get an invite to the NFL Combine, so his best chance to catch the attention of the NFL was to deliver a solid Pro Day in March. Catching balls from Fernando Mendoza, Price checked that box, and he just kept turning in solid performances. He wasn’t drafted in April, but Price signed with the Minnesota Vikings right after the draft.  From rookie mini-camp, to training camp, to the preseason, Price just kept turning heads. Price flashed in Minnesota’s first exhibition against Houston, scoring the Vikings lone receiving TD on a 3-yard pass. His other catch of the…

If YouTube TV is your streaming platform of choice, your ability to watch IU football this fall is in jeopardy. YouTube TV and Fox are locked in a carriage dispute that could leave subscribers to the streaming platform unable to watch Week 1 of the college football season this weekend. If an agreement is not reached, YouTube TV subscribers will lose access to Fox channels, including the Fox broadcast network, FS1 and Big Ten Network. Indiana’s season opening game against Old Dominion is on FS1.  Their week…

After weeks of beating up on each other, IU football will enter its 2025 season opener relatively healthy. The Hoosiers weren’t as fortunate coming out of the spring, when anticipated starter at slot receiver Tyler Morris was lost for the season. And there were questions going into fall camp, especially surrounding 2024 starting guard Drew Evans, who had an Achilles injury last November. But just days from the start of the 2025 campaign, second-year head coach Curt Cignetti says his squad is in a good place health-wise. “I feel really good about the health of our team right now going…

The long awaited year two of the Curt Cignetti era is here. It’s game week as the Hoosiers get set to face Old Dominion Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET (FS1) at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington. So what’s the outlook for…

On Sunday, former IU baseball pitcher McCade Brown became the fourth Hoosier to make his Major League Baseball debut in 2025. The 6-foot-6 righthander was the starter for Colorado against the Pirates in Pittsburgh. The Rockies selected Brown’s contract from Double-A Hartford ahead of his scheduled start . Brown, 25, a third-round pick in 2021 from Indiana, was 4-2 with a 2.47 ERA in 20 combined starts at High-A Spokane and Hartford. He started throwing well this year after a lengthy comeback from Tommy John right elbow surgery in 2023. The 25-year-old right-hander bypassed the Triple-A level as the Rockies…
