Who from Indiana football should make All-Big Ten when the teams are announced next week?
There are plenty of good cases to be made.
If they follow last year’s approach, the league office will announce first through third-team offensive and defensive coaches/media teams early next week.
Here are the players from Indiana who we think should make one of the teams or honorable mention.

OFFENSE
ON ONE OF THE THREE TEAMS:
– Fernando Mendoza, quarterback: Leads league in touchdowns, rating, yards per attempt.
– Elijah Sarratt, wide receiver: Tied for the Big Ten lead in receiving touchdowns.
– Omar Cooper, Jr., wide receiver: Tied for the Big Ten lead in receiving touchdowns.
– Carter Smith, tackle: No sacks allowed according to PFF.
– Pat Coogan, center: No sacks allowed according to PFF.
HONORABLE MENTION: Roman Hemby, Kaelon Black, Riley Nowakowski
DEFENSE
ON ONE OF THE THREE TEAMS:
– D’Angelo Ponds, cornerback: Highest PFF coverage grade among Big Ten corners.
– Louis Moore, safety: Leads the league in interceptions.
– Aiden Fisher, linebacker: Leader of No. 2 scoring defense in the nation.
– Stephen Daley, defensive end: Leads league in tackles for loss.
– Mikail Kamara, defensive end: Tied for second-most QB pressures in the Big Ten.
HONORABLE MENTION: Rolijah Hardy, Isaiah Jones. Tyrique Tucker
