According to the 247Sports Composite, the 6-foot-9 Evans is a 5-star prospect ranked No. 3 nationally in the class of 2023.
A high school teammate of 2022 signees Jalen Hood-Schifino and Malik Reneau at Montverde Academy, Indiana is hoping to bring Evans on campus for an official visit this summer. Along with IU, Evans is considering Arizona, Kentucky, Oregon, Auburn and UCLA.
