Indiana and the Golden Gophers tip at 6:30 p.m. ET on Big Ten Network.

    ———————————————————————–

    FINAL: Indiana 77, Minnesota 47

    SECOND HALF

Darian DeVries gets his seniors an Assembly Hall send-off, taking them out of the game to loud ovations and big hugs on the sideline.

    Under-4 media timeout: Indiana 72, Minnesota 45.

    • This is all but over. Indiana is going to end its four-game losing streak here. Good stuff on both ends by the Hoosiers tonight.

IU has extended its lead to 65-40 at the under-8.

    • Minnesota is just out of this game. Give Indiana credit for keeping its foot on the gas and not letting the Gophers back into it.
    • Tucker DeVries and Nick Dorn are both now into double figures. DeVries has 10 points on his senior night, and Dorn is at 11.

Gophers call timeout with 10:20 left in the game. IU is now ahead 59-40.

    • Minnesota hasn’t scored in nearly three minutes. Niko Medved is playing a six-man rotation, as he usually does, and this group is running out of gas tonight.

Indiana leads Minnesota 55-40 at the under-12.

    • Minnesota won that last segment of the game, but IU is still firmly in control.
    • Lamar Wilkerson has three fouls now, which led to Darian DeVries putting him on the bench.
    • Minnesota is shooting 38 percent from the field, IU is at 57 percent. Tells you what you need to know about the way this game has gone.

First media timeout of the second half: Indiana leads Minnesota 52-34.

    • Sam Alexis has tied his season high with 19 points, and Lamar Wilkerson has joined him in double figures.

We are back at Assembly Hall.

    HALFTIME: Indiana 43, Minnesota 28

    Image

    • The Hoosiers take their biggest lead of the night into the locker room. Great play in the final seconds by Reed Bailey to find a cutting Tucker DeVries for a dunk.
    • IU is scoring 1.483 points per possession, while giving up 0.875 on the other end. Really strong half by Darian DeVries’ group.
    • Lamar Wilkerson became the second player in IU history to make 100 3-pointers in a single season. He is seven away from tying Steve Alford’s program record.

    FIRST HALF

Indiana leads Minnesota 33-24 at the final media timeout of the first half.

    • Nick Dorn with one of his better halves in a while for IU. He’s shot 3 for 4 from the field and 2 for 3 from 3-point range for eight points. We saw in January how much of a boost it gives IU when he’s dialed in, so it’ll be huge if he can keep it up in the second half.
    • Sam Alexis might be having his best half of the season. He already has 17 points tonight. His season-high for points in a game is 19.

    Under-8 timeout: Indiana 26, Minnesota 22

    • The Gophers answered back with a 10-2 run to get back in the game, forcing some misses from IU’s offense and starting to knock down some shots of their own.
    • Sam Alexis is into double-figures, with 13 points.

Minnesota calls a timeout after a really nice alley-oop from Wilkerson to Alexis, with 12:22 left in the half. Indiana’s lead is 18-6.

    • IU is on a 14-2 run. The Hoosiers are rolling right now.
    • Alexis is absolutely carving up the Gophers inside. He’s up to nine points, on 4-for-4 shooting, with two rebounds, and a block. The senior has been terrific.

First media timeout: Indiana leads Minnesota 14-6, 14:15 left in the first half.

    • Really good start for the Hoosiers. Getting good looks offensively, and converting them or getting to the foul line. And they’re putting together some nice defensive possessions as well.
    • Lamar Wilkerson has six points already, two made 3-pointers. Sam Alexis has five.

We are underway in Bloomington. This is an absolute must-win for the Hoosiers tonight.

    PREGAME NOTES

Starting lineup is as you’d expect for Indiana.

A student was just shown on the videoboard at Assembly Hall wearing a white t-shirt with “I ❤️ Reed” on it, which drew some applause. The #iubb student section gave Reed Bailey a Hard time on Sunday, but appears to be making amends.

Injury report remains the same for Indiana heading into this one.
