Following an official visit to IU earlier this month, UCLA linebacker verbal pledge Cain Brackney is trending for the Hoosiers.
Four different Rivals national recruiting analysts have logged predictions suggesting Brackney will flip his commitment to IU.
This development comes after Brackney took what appears to be his final official visit to Michigan this past weekend.
The 6-foot-2 and 230-pound Brackney hails from Tulsa, Okla. where he attends Bixby H.S.
As a junior Brackney recorded 102 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, two sacks, one pass breakup, one forced fumble, one recovered fumble and one interception that he returned for a touchdown.
Based on the average of the national outlets, Brackney is a 3-star, the No. 910 overall player in the class, and the No. 77 linebacker.
The Hoosiers currently have 15 commits in the 2027 class, including two verbal pledges who could play linebacker in college.
