Three former IU basketball players are on NBA G League rosters as play begins Friday evening.
Trey Galloway is with the Santa Cruz Warriors, Luke Goode is with the South Bay Lakers, and Miller Kopp is with the Cleveland Charge.
Galloway played five seasons at IU and broke the program record with 140 games played. He finished seventh in program history in career assists (433) and 55th in team history in scoring (1,020).
After transferring in from Illinois, Goode played one season at IU in 2024-25. He played in all 32 contests and averaged 9.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 0.6 assists per game while shooting 39.2% from three.
Kopp finished his IU career in 2023 and is set to begin his third consecutive season in the G League. He shot the ball well in his final season of college basketball for the Hoosiers in 2022-23, converting 48.1% (100-of-208) from the field, 44.4% (63-of-142) from the 3-point line, and 82.6% (19-of-23) from the free throw line.
Meanwhile, former NBA All-Star Victor Oladipo is continuing his professional career in the G League.
Per NBA insider Jake Fischer, Oladipo has signed a contract to enter the G League player pool.
Since G League rosters had to be set on Thursday ahead of opening day on Friday, players who sign into the league are entered into the player pool. Teams can file a claim for any player in the pool. Claims are awarded based on the waiver order.
Oladipo most recently played for the Guangzhou Loong Lions of the Chinese Basketball Association. He was with the team for their games against the San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Clippers during the NBA preseason last month and averaged 22 points.
Oladipo hasn’t played in the NBA since the 2022-23 season.
