Indiana football moved up five spots to No. 12 in the latest coaches poll released following their 63-10 win over former No. 8 Illinois on Saturday.
The Fighting Illini fell 15 spots to No. 23.
The 4-0 Hoosiers will next head to Iowa. The Hawkeyes (3-1) are not ranked but did receive a vote in the coaches poll.
The Big Ten continues to dominate the top of the coaches poll, with Ohio State (1), Penn State (2) and Oregon (5) all in the top-10. Also ranked from the league are Michigan (18) and USC (22).
In the updated AP poll released later, IU moved up 11 spots to No. 11. Here are the full Big Ten rankings in new AP poll:
In the computer rankings, IU moved up 10 spots in ESPN’s FPI to No. 6. That model gives the Hoosiers a 78.4% chance to beat Iowa on Saturday in Iowa City. Oddsmakers are favoring Indiana by about 6.5 points.
IU is also No. 6 in ESPN’s SP+ computer model.
