IU women’s basketball will be back at it in Big Ten Tournament action on Friday afternoon after their win over Rutgers on Thursday.
The No. 5-seed (No. 14/12) Hoosiers (20-7) will face No. 4-Seed (No. 11/11) Maryland (21-7) at approximately 1:50 p.m. Eastern at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The game will air on the Big Ten Network.
The game will mark the third meeting this season between IU and the Terrapins. Indiana won 70-63 in overtime in Bloomington on Jan. 2, and lost 67-64 in College Park last week.
The Hoosiers are also vying for a top-four seed in the NCAA Tournament to secure home court for the first two rounds of that event. A win over Maryland would likely lock in that opportunity.
