Below we take a look at Pro Football Focus (PFF) grades, notes and snap counts from Indiana’s week 14 game at Purdue.  The Hoosiers won 56-3 to complete a perfect 12-0 regular season.

IU is No. 1 overall at PFF through 12 games.  They have the No. 1 offense in the nation, the No. 2 defense behind Texas Tech, and the No. 8 special teams.

No. 2 Indiana (12-0, 9-0) will face No. 1 Ohio State (12-0, 9-0) in the Big Ten Championship Saturday evening at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis (8 p.m. ET, FOX).

    OFFENSIVE STANDOUTS

The top overall offensive grade among the starters went to running back Roman Hemby.  He averaged 12.7 yards per carry and had 115 yards after contact.  Hemby forced three missed tackles and broke off a career-long 82-yard run.  He had five runs that went for first downs.

Indiana’s overall passing offense received its lowest marks of the season at PFF.  Fernando Mendoza received a poor passing grade as PFF says he had three turnover-worthy throws, although none of them resulted in interceptions.  He completed just 8 of 15 passes for 117 yards in a game he called the coldest he has ever played in.  He did carry two times for 27 yards and a score.

The top receiving grade went to Omar Cooper, Jr., who caught three of five targets with no drops.  He had 33 yards after catch, forced four missed tackles, and produced three first downs.

The top pass blocking grade went to left tackle Carter Smith, who allowed no pressures and finished the regular season with no sacks allowed.  Adedamola Ajani and Pat Coogan also had very strong pass blacking grades.

The top run blocking mark went to Carter Smith as well among the starting offensive linemen.  Zen Michalski was second.  It’s worth noting the top-four run blocking grades went to wide receivers.

The top run defense grade went to linebacker Rolijah Hardy, who had six tackles against the run. Hardy also had the best overall tackling grade on the team with nine tackles and no misses.  Stephen Daley had the second-best grade against the run, and Daley’s average depth of tackle against the run was -4.0 yards.  Daley led the Big Ten with 18 tackles for loss in 2025.

The top pass rush grade went to Mikail Kamara, who generated six pressures on the evening.  Kamara ended the regular season as the Big Ten’s leader in pressures with 46.  As a team Indiana didn’t get any sacks on the slippery Ryan Browne, but they had 23 pressures on 50 drop backs.
