Indiana landed a commitment from class of 2026 wide receiver Walker Bryson on Friday afternoon.

Walker announced his commitment on his social media pages.  He recently visited Bloomington earlier this month.

The 6-foot and 180-pound Walker is a 3-star, the No. 511 overall player in the 2026 class, and the No. 26 athlete according to the average of the national sites.

Walker attends Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School in Rabun Gap, Ga.  One of his greatest assets is high-end speed.  He reports a laser-timed 4.4 40-yard dash.  And Walker uses that speed in a number of ways, as a receiver, returner and runner.  In just 7.5 regular season games as a junior, Bryson scored 10 TDs, amassed 400 return yards, 500 receiving yards on 40 catches, and 1,000 all-purpose yards.

Bryson chose IU over North Carolina, Wake Forest, and South Florida.  He also had offers from Rutgers, Minnesota, Kansas State, Virginia Tech, Memphis, Pittsburgh, Oregon State, Kansas, Syracuse, Tennessee, West Virginia, Vanderbilt, Duke, West Virginia, Miami (Fla.), and many others.

Walker’s junior season highlights are below.  More information on IU’s 2026 class follows below the video.

Walker is IU’s 21st verbal commit in a 2026 class that is ranked around No. 27 in the nation by the main recruiting outlets before this news.  He’s the second player expected to play wide receiver to commit to IU this cycle.  Here is the rest of the class, with links to profiles on each player.
