Indiana now knows all of its opponents for the 2025 season.

Kennesaw State’s Athletics Department announced a game against IU in Bloomington on Sept. 6, 2025.

The game will be the first in series history between the two programs and will mark KSU’s first competition against a Big Ten football opponent. The Owls officially become members of the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) on July 1, 2024, and will compete within Conference USA.

Kennesaw State is entering just their tenth year of football competition.

On a perhaps related note, IU President Pam Whitten came to Bloomington from Kennesaw State.

Here are all 12 Indiana opponents for 2025.  The Big Ten has not yet announced the specific dates for the conference matchups.

    Aug. 30 – Old Dominion
    Sept. 6 – Kennesaw State
    Sept. 13 – Indiana State

    BIG TEN:

2025 Home: Illinois, Michigan State, UCLA, Wisconsin
2025 Away: Iowa, Maryland, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue

Indiana’s full slates of 12 opponents are now known through 2027.  You can always see all of IU’s known future opponents by going to the future schedules page, which is also on the football drop-down menu.

WR Perry in the transfer portal

With Indiana’s depth at the position, a transfer or two out of the wide receiver room seemed likely this spring.

Kam Perry announced on Thursday he would be leaving the IU program.

“Thank you IU, I wish Coach Cignetti and my brothers best of luck this season,” Perry said in a post on his X account.

Perry appeared in nine games for the Hoosiers in 2023.  He caught three passes for 22 yards.

The Atlanta, Ga. product appeared in one game and redshirted his initial collegiate season (2022).
