Watch as IU class of 2027 quarterback commit Jameson Purcell sat down with Rivals national reporter Josh Newberg to discuss his visit for the season opener against North Texas, and the evolution of IU football since his verbal pledge to the Hoosiers last summer.
The 6-foot-1 Purcell was Indiana’s first commit in the 2027 class. Based on the industry average, he’s a 3-star, and the No. 34 QB in the senior class.
Through four games this season for Maine South H.S. (Park Ridge, Ill.), Purcell has completed 64% of his passes and has thrown for 749 yards with nine TDs and two INTs.
