Tulane guard Rowan Brumbaugh is a name to know for Indiana in this transfer portal cycle.
Brumbaugh is listed as a 6-foot-4 and 185-pound guard. He has one year of eligibility remaining. He’s from Washington D.C., where IU assistant coach Kenny Johnson has deep connections.
As a redshirt junior in 2025-26, Brumbaugh started all 33 games for the Green Wave and earned All-American Conference Second Team honors. He finished with 632 points which ranks second in program history for a single season. Brumbaugh led the team in scoring, rebounds, assists, and steals averaging 19.1 points, 4.9 boards, 4.6 assists, and 1.6 steals in 36.1 minutes per game. He shot 46.1% from the field overall including 37.3% from three on 153 attempts. He made 80% of his free throws.
Brumbaugh tallied double figures in scoring in 31 games including 11 games with at least 20 points. He reached 30 or more points in three games including a career-high 35 points twice.
As a redshirt sophomore in 2024-25, he started all 34 games for the Green Wave. He led the team in scoring, assists, and steals averaging 15.5 points, 4.8 assists, and 1.6 steals in 34.9 minutes per game. He shot 40.3% from three on 129 attempts.
Brumbaugh played one season at Georgetown in 2023-24, making an appearance in all 31 games including 20 starts. He averaged 8.3 points and 2.6 assists in 22.3 minutes per game. He connected at a 40.7 percent clip from the field and 37.0 percent from beyond the arc with 27 made threes.
He redshirted for the 2022-23 season at Texas before transferring to Georgetown.
