Class of 2026 4-star forward Latrell Allmond has announced an offer from IU.

Allmond announced the offer on his Instagram page.

The 6-foot-8 Allmond is from Richmond, Va. where he attends John Marshall H.S.

Allmond is a consensus 4-star prospect at the national recruiting sites.  On average he is the No. 41 overall player in the 2026 class, and the No. 6 power forward.

According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, he averaged team-highs with 21 points, 2.3 blocks and a 63% field goal percentage as a high school junior. Allmond added 7.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.7 steals per game while shooting 70% from two, 44% from three and 76% from the free throw line.  He was the Class 2 Virginia High School League Player of the Year

Allmond is being recruited by both Tennessee and Georgetown, where IU assistants Rod Clark and Kenny Johnson came from respectively.  He previously visited both of those schools.

His complete list of offers includes high majors Kansas, Tennessee, Louisville, Cincinnati, Rutgers, Oklahoma State, NC State, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Georgia, Georgetown, Florida State, LSU, Mississippi State, Missouri, Providence, Texas A&M, Virginia, and Washington.

On film Allmond looks like a modern four, with both physicality and skill.  Allmond can score on the low block with either hand, and he has good shot mechanics from long range and makes threes at a high rate.  He runs the floor well and rebounds aggressively too.

For spring and summer basketball, Allmond plays for Team Loaded on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit.  His highlights from 2024 AAU action are below.  He is No. 24.
