Most of the members of the 2025-26 IU basketball team who transferred out of the program have found new homes.
Wing Nick Dorn is the lone transfer headed to another high major program. He is going to Miami (Fla.). The Hurricanes hope he can make his seven-game stretch that saw him average 13.7 points while shooting 44.6% from three on eight attempts per game closer to the norm.
Wing Jasai Miles announced he’s headed to Loyola Marymount in California. Miles appeared in 26 games off the bench for IU after transferring in from North Florida. He averaged 1.6 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 0.4 assists in 9.5 minutes per game for the Hoosiers.
Guard Aleksa Ristic has transferred to Belmont. The Nis, Serbia native appeared in 12 games off the bench in 2025-26, totaling only 31 minutes as a freshman.
Guard Jason Drake never played for IU after suffering a preseason foot injury. He’s headed to the Atlantic 10 to play for Temple.
Forward Josh Harris also never played for the Hoosiers after a preseason injury. He’s headed back close to home. He’ll play for Florida Atlantic next season.
Center/forward Andrej Acimovic has not announced a transfer destination yet. He did not appear in any games for IU and still has at least four years of college eligibility remaining.
Point guard Tayton Conerway also put his name in the portal, presumably to provide the opportunity to transfer if he is able to obtain an extra year of eligibility. It is not clear he’ll receive any extra years unless he pursues legal action. Conerway has not announced a transfer destination.
