The IU basketball program has formally announced the signing of Georgia Tech transfer wing Jaeden Mustaf.
The 6-foot-6 Mustaf arrives at IU with two years of eligibility remaining. He has played in 55 games with 33 starts thus far.

Jaeden Mustaf Commits to Indiana Men’s Basketball
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana head men’s basketball coach Darian DeVries announced the addition of junior-to-be wing Jaeden Mustaf to the basketball program on Monday morning. Mustaf, a former 4-star recruit, joins Indiana after two seasons at Georgia Tech.
During his two-year stint in Atlanta, he produced 516 points, 206 rebounds, 112 assists, and 39 steals in 55 appearances with the Yellow Jackets. He made 33 starts in two seasons under head coach Damon Stoudamire and averaged 9.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. Mustaf scored double figures in 22 games and added a pair of double-doubles.
Mustaf made 23 starts across 29 appearances as a sophomore and averaged 10.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 27.7 minutes per game. He shot 43.3% (100-of-231) from the floor, 38.9% (21-of-54) from the 3-point line, and 72.7% (80-of-110) from the free throw line. Mustaf averaged 14.9 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game over his final nine outings for the Yellow Jackets.
As a freshman in 2024-25, Mustaf appeared in 26 games with 10 starts. The consensus four-star recruit averaged 8.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 0.9 steals in 24.4 minutes per game. He shot 39.3% (72-of-183) from the floor, 34.4% (11-of-32) from the 3-point line, and 71.4% (60-of-84) from the free throw line. He reached double figures in the scoring column on nine occasions and pulled down at least four rebounds in 10 outings.
Mustaf attended Overtime Elite in Atlanta in 2023-24 and averaged 10.2 points, 5.6 assists, and 3.8 rebounds over 16 games with the City Reapers team. His numbers improved to 11.1 points, 6.1 assists, and 4.3 rebounds over eight games in the City Reapers’ run to the finals, where they defeated RWE to win the OTE title. He earned all-state honors at Carmel Christian (Matthews, N.C.) and led his team to a 28-4 record and a berth in the state championship game during the 2022-23 season. Mustaf averaged 15.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game. Prior to Carmel Christian, he attended DeMatha Catholic High School (Hyattsville, Md.) in 2021-22. Mustaf is the son of the late Maryland star Jerrod Mustaf, who played for the Terrapins in the late 1980s and was selected 17th overall in the 1990 NBA draft by the New York Knicks. He is one of eight children.
