The Barn Burner Trophy is staying with Indiana.

The Hoosiers led wire-to-wire in West Lafayette as IU completed the season sweep of its home-and-home series with in-state rival Purdue.

Indiana led by as many as 15 points in the third quarter before Purdue mounted a rally to pull within six points entering the fourth.  But Indiana had the answers in enemy territory and reclaimed a comfortable lead down the stretch to pull out a 66-54 win.

IU had three scorers in double figures.  Redshirt junior guard Ali Patberg flirted with a triple double finishing with 17 points, nine rebounds and seven assists at Mackey Arena. Patberg also went 9-for-11 at the free throw line.

Backcourt mates Jaelynn Penn and Grace Berger each added 15 points on the night.  Senior Brenna Wise added 7 points and 7 rebounds.

The Hoosiers were strong defensively for most of the game, holding the Boilermakers to 35.6 percent shooting from the field.  Purdue only had 21 points at halftime.

The Hoosiers controlled the glass, outrebounding Purdue 38-28 for the game.

Indiana brings the Barn Burner Trophy back to Bloomington for the fourth-straight season, the longest win streak in the annual rivalry game for IU.

Overall, the Hoosiers have won six of seven over Purdue as head coach Teri Moren continues to have success against her alma mater.

The Hoosiers improved to 18-5 overall and 8-3 in Big Ten play.  IU is still right in the thick of the Big Ten race, one game behind Northwestern and Iowa.

No. 18 Indiana returns home to face No. 13 Maryland on Thursday night. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. ET and the game will air on The Big Ten Network.
