IU football landed a commitment from class of 2026 in-state product Parker Elmore, he announced on social media on Sunday.

Elmore plays both tight end and outside linebacker at Columbus North High. He tagged Indiana tight ends coach Grant Cain in his commitment post, but it’s not entirely clear at which position the Hoosiers will use him.

He’s unranked in 247Sports Composite, and held just two other offers: Illinois State and Kent State. He’s a 3-star and the No. 41 tight end in 247Sports own rankings.  He took an official visit to IU over the weekend.

The 6-5 and 230-pound Elmore previously played at Jennings County High, before transferring to Columbus North ahead of the 2024 season.

After missing most of his sophomore season due to injury and sitting out in 2024 due to the transfer rules, Elmore is a bit of an under the radar prospect. He’s also a high level basketball player running with Grand Park Premiere this travel season.

Indiana’s class of 2026 is up to 16 players now. Here is the rest of the class so far, with links to more information on each player.

    1. Gabe Hill, Naperville, Illinois, DL (4-star)
    2. Henry Ohlinger, Columbus, Ohio, LB/RB (4-star)
    3. Kevontay Hugan, Sarasota, Fla., Edge (4-star)
    4. Jay Timmons, Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, DB (4-star)
    5. Kasmir Hicks, Indianapolis, Indiana, CB/WR (3-star)
    6. Sam Simpson, River Falls, Wisconsin, IOL (3-star)
    7. Trevor Gibbs, Crown Point, Indiana, TE (3-star)
    8. Blake Smythe, Franklin, Indiana, DL (3-star)
    9. P.J. MacFarlane, Liberty Township, Ohio, TE (3-star)
    10. Kortez Rupert, East St. Louis, Illinois, WR (3-star)
    11. Jacob Savage, Union, Kentucky, LB (3-star)
    12. Ja’Dyn Williams, Massillon, Ohio, LB (3-star)
    13. Rodney White, Towson, Maryland, DL (3-star)
    14. Kenton Mondeau, Eau Claire, Wisconsin, OT (3-star)
    15. C.J. Scifres, Greenwood, Indiana, IOL (3-star)
