Eight former IU basketball stars are playing at the highest level of the game during the 2018-19 season.  We will be monitoring their seasons with monthly updates.

Below we summarize their year to date performance with NBA stats through the end of January.

(Note – stats are actually through February 1 games)

    OG Anunoby – Toronto

Anunoby had an up and down month.  He missed five games for personal reasons just as he was starting to get things rolling with several good games early in the month.  He has returned to action and was just selected to the NBA Rising Stars Challenge.

    2018-19 YTD Stats:

Bryant’s numbers went up across the board in January as his breakout season in Washington continues.  His per-36 minute numbers right now have him at more than 17 points and 10 rebounds per game, and he hit 8 of 12 from behind the three-point line in January.

You know the story by now.  Oladipo’s 2018-19 season has ended after a knee injury on January 23.  He did play long enough to be voted as an NBA All-Star for the second straight season, although he will of course not play in the game.  It was a disappointing ending on the team level as well, as the Pacers were soaring prior to the injury.
