Hoosier Sounds: Jeff Newton joins A.J. Guyton on House of Hoosier podcast

He is one of the more underappreciated players in history of IU basketball.

Indiana’s all-time leading shot blocker, No. 14 rebounder, and No. 38 scorer Jeff Newton joined former All-American guard and teammate A.J. Guyton on the House of Hoosier podcast.

Originally a Bob Knight recruit, Newton stayed through the coaching change and helped lead IU to the 2002 national championship game.  Newton discusses his childhood in Georgia, playing for Knight and Mike Davis and that magical 2002 run, his professional career, and what he is up to now.
