The Big Ten Network is releasing condensed 10 to 15 minute cuts of Big Ten basketball games from the 2021-22 season.
Next up was a record breaking night. Trayce Jackson-Davis scored a career high and Assembly Hall record 43 points on 18-of-24 shooting. Steve Alford had the previous record. Marshall appeared reluctant to double team the junior big man until he had exceeded the 30-point mark. At that point he was effective passing out of the post and had 4 assists. Jackson-Davis also had 5 blocks on the other end.
It was lost in the TJD show, but Xavier Johnson had one of his most complete games of the season with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists.
The Hoosiers trailed by 12 in the first half before rallying.
