Once an overlooked recruit, OG Anunoby has cashed in big-time. The Toronto Raptors forward has signed a four-year, $72 million contract, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting. The 23 year old Anunoby became a full-time starter during the 2019-20 season, averaging career-highs with 10.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.4 steals and .7 blocks in 29.9 minutes per contest. Anunoby also shot a career best 39 percent from behind the three-point line during the 2019-20 regular season. Anunoby was the 23rd pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. There will be no New Year’s Six bowl game for Indiana this year. But for the first time ever, IU will play in back-to-back January postseason contests. When Tom Allen hired offensive coordinator Kalen DeBoer in 2019, his offense needed a breath of fresh air, and he got it. Allen was willing to go outside of his network and bring in someone with a proven track record in part because he needed to fix something that was broken. Maybe they were still waking up? After a rare morning tip, Indiana looked lethargic early in Indianapolis on Saturday at the tenth edition of the Crossroads Classic. Perhaps IU enjoyed a halftime cup of coffee?  Something jolted the Hoosiers coming out of the locker rooms.  Indiana imposed their will on the defensive end and wore down Butler at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
