Nearing the end of the first quarter of IU’s game against Michigan Saturday in Bloomington, Michigan running backs coach Mike Hart suffered a seizure, leading to him being carted off the field on a stretcher.  The diagnosis was reported by FOX during the halftime show. Hart was a running backs coach at IU before he returned to his alma mater to take the same position. The Wolverines went to their knees around the area while trainers tended to Hart. Indiana senior forward Trayce Jackson-Davis sounded the alarm a couple weeks ago at the program’s media day. Freshman guard Jalen Hood-Schifino is good.  Really good. On Friday afternoon, representatives from 25 NBA teams will descend on Bloomington in conjunction with the IU basketball program’s first ever Pro Day.  That figure is according to Stadium’s Jeff Goodman. Indiana senior forward Trayce Jackson-Davis was named Preseason Big Ten Player of the Year as chosen by a select media panel, the Big Conference announced Thursday. He is the first Hoosier to receive the honor since Cody Zeller prior to the 2012-13 season. Senior guard Grace Berger and junior forward Mackenzie Holmes were named 2022-23 preseason All-Big Ten selections for the second-consecutive season, and IU picked to finish second amongst the league’s media and third by the coaches, the league announced on Wednesday. Berger was a unanimous preseason All-Big Ten selection as she enters her fifth season with the Hoosiers. She earned a trio of All-American honorable mention accolades last season, and she was a first team All-Big Ten honoree as well.
