Half of the NBA will get a look at former IU star Trayce Jackson-Davis via team workouts in the coming days. According to a report by Adam Zagoria, Indiana’s all-time leading rebounder and shot blocker has 15 workouts scheduled with NBA clubs after this week’s NBA Draft Combine. During the Combine, Jackson-Davis also has meetings with the following teams according to Zagoria:  New Orleans, Milwaukee, Charlotte, Los Angeles Lakers, Toronto, Washington and Golden State. As we’ve previously reported, Indiana basketball is playing in the Empire Classic in New York City as part of its 2023-24 non-conference schedule. Joining the Hoosiers for the Nov. 19-20 event at Madison Square Garden is defending national champion UConn, along with Texas and Louisville. Sports book DraftKings has released win total estimates for the 14 teams in the Big Ten in 2023. The headline will come as little surprise — Michigan and Ohio State lead the way when it comes to win total over/under estimates.  The rivals have won the last six Big Ten Championship Games and represented two of the four teams in last year’s College Football Playoff. Schools like Duke, Kentucky, and others have proven one thing in the one-and-done era — if you bring in NBA caliber players, and then deliver them to the the league a year later, they’ll keep coming. By all accounts, Jalen Hood-Schifino had a good year at Indiana. After earning Big Ten Freshman of the Year honors, he is expected to be selected in the first round of the 2023 NBA Draft next month. Indiana formally announced the addition of Mackenzie Mgbako to their roster on Tuesday, meaning he has signed with the program. The class of 2023 5-star announced his decision to attend IU over Kansas on Friday. Former IU stars Trayce Jackson-Davis and Jalen Hood-Schifino are at the NBA Draft combine in Chicago this week. Both players are expected to be selected in the June draft. Freshman point guard Hood-Schifino is expected to go anywhere from the middle of the first round to late in the first.  Senior forward Jackson-Davis is expected to go anywhere from late in the first round to the middle part of the second. Indiana has offered one of the hottest names of the spring. Class of 2025 point guard Darius Acuff announced an offer from the IU staff on Monday on his social media pages. Playing up a year on the Nike EYBL Circuit for The Family, Acuff is averaging 20.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 4.0 assists through 12 EYBL games while converting at a 38 percent clip from beyond the arc.  He’s the second leading scorer on the entire circuit and he’s gone from relative unknown on the national scene to big-time prospect. Former Oregon outside linebacker Anthony Jones is headed to Indiana. The 6-foot-3 and 243 pound Jones announced his decision to transfer to the Hoosiers on Monday evening. https://twitter.com/anthonyjones015/status/1658242501613064193?s=20 The Nevada product visited the portal last month and recently visited Indiana.
