Former Indiana forward Race Thompson’s next basketball move is uncertain. The Minnesota native signed a summer deal with the New York Knicks, and he was supposed to play for the franchise this week in Las Vegas. But according to multiple reports, Thompson is dealing with right knee soreness and he’ll miss the Knicks summer league action from July 8-14. Thompson also injured his right knee in January and missed four games. The 6-foot-8 forward could have used the summer league to land a training camp invite and perhaps a contract with a G-League team. He’ll likely still try to pursue…
Indiana offered class of 2024 wing Annor Boateng in April and they’ve been in regular contact since. The 6-foot-5 Boateng is ranked No. 25 nationally in the rising senior class according to the On3 Consensus. The Daily Hoosier caught up with the Little Rock, Ark. product in Rock Hill, S.C. at the Adidas 3SSB Championships to discuss the latest on his recruitment and current thoughts on Indiana. He’s one of…

The 6-foot-2 Kentucky product says the plan is to narrow things down…
He waited and waited on draft night, but Trayce Jackson-Davis ended up in a good place with a good deal when it was all said and done. The former IU basketball star is getting a four-year deal from the Golden State Warriors, the first two guaranteed, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Jackson-Davis was the 57th pick in last month’s NBA Draft, though some mock drafts considered him a late first-round selection. Part of the reason for the fall to the second to last pick in the draft? Jackson-Davis told teams he didn’t want to sign a two-way contract that would…

On Wednesday he told 247Sports national recruiting analyst Brandon Jenkins IU is one of the schools he’d like to visit. The 6-foot-6 Greer attends Lake Travis H.S. in Austin, Texas. He dealt with injuries during most of the spring, but averaged 14.5 points on 78 percent shooting from the field during the Dallas session of the EYBL. Greer is regarded as a high level slasher who can get…

Gordon was traded from the Rockets to the Los Angeles Clippers midway through this past season.…
One of the main stories of Indiana’s offseason has been Jalen Hood-Schifino. The one-and done point guard was drafted in the first round of the 2023 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers, and his lone season at IU has been on the mind of most of the program’s top recruiting targets in the class of 2024 and beyond. Hood-Schifino was one of the first marquee high school recruits to commit to play for Mike Woodson. He was a bit of a pioneer, saying yes to IU before Woodson ever coached a college basketball game. Now he’s forged a path…
