For the second consecutive year, official IU NIL collectives Hoosiers Connect and Hoosiers for Good have announced a $1 million matching campaign via an anonymous donor. The news comes in conjunction with the launch of the IN For Indiana Campaign, a major fundraising push by the organizations. Indiana has offered class of 2025 point guard Chance Mallory. The 5-foot-10 Mallory reported the IU offer on his social media accounts. According to the On3 Industry Average, Mallory is a 4-star prospect, the No. 73 overall player in the 2025 class, and the No. 11 point guard. The Charlottesville, Va. product attends St. Anne’s-Belfield School.  For spring and summer basketball he plays for Team Thrill on the Under Armour Circuit.  Mallory played up with 2024 IU targets Derik Queen and Daquan Davis for that outfit. After earning an automatic bid in the NCAA Tournament via Sunday’s Big Ten Tournament title, the only drama for IU on Monday was where they’d land in the bracket. Indiana will host Lipscomb in the first round of the NCAA Tournament as announced on the NCAA Selection Show on Monday. IU returns to the NCAA Tournament for the 48th time in 51 seasons while making its NCAA-record 37th consecutive appearance. It’s early, but the product Indiana is putting on the floor is downright concerning coming out of the 2023-24 gate. BLOOMINGTON — Indiana defeated Army by a final score of 72-64 at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on Sunday evening. IU men’s soccer defeated Penn State 1-0 Sunday afternoon in Bloomington to claim the program’s 16th Big Ten Tournament title. Sam Sarver scored the game’s lone goal just moments before halftime. The match was played in front of a season high 4,045 fans at Bill Armstrong Stadium.
