Class of 2024 guard Austin Swartz will announce his college decision on Tuesday. The North Carolina based product was scheduled to visit IU September 14-16. This development obviously means Swartz is headed elsewhere. As we’ve previously reported on an individual basis, the IU basketball program will host three top-50 visitors from the class of 2025 this weekend. If there’s one reason why IU basketball stands near the top in the NIL space, this is it. Hoosiers For Good Inc., an official NIL collective of Indiana University Athletics, signed a summer 2023 class of 31 IU student-athletes who will use their name, image, and likeness (NIL) to make an impact on 13 Indiana charity partners, the organization announced on Thursday. Former IU basketball one-and-done star Romeo Langford has signed a contract with the Utah Jazz, according to a report by Tony Jones and Shams Charania of The Athletic. The Jazz later confirmed the report. Most recently with the San Antonio Spurs, Langford was a free agent following the 2022-23 season. The deal is an Exhibit 10 contract for the former Celtics lottery pick. Over his four-year NBA career, the 23-year-old is averaging 4.6 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 0.7 assists while shooting 43 percent from the floor and 28 percent from three.
