Pregame warmups are going to be must watch when Indiana prepares to face Auburn in Atlanta. The Hoosiers listed five players as questionable on their Big Ten mandated availability report for the game, including three starters and their two leading scorers. Both Kel’el Ware and Malik Reneau were listed as questionable by IU, along with Xavier Johnson, C.J. Gunn and Anthony Walker. Indiana will get a visit from Ohio University transfer quarterback Kurtis Rourke, Pete Nakos of On3 is reporting. Wake Forest is also expected to get a visit according to Nakos. Rourke has thrown for over 7,600 yards to go with 50 touchdowns in his college career that goes back to 2019. He redshirted in 2019, and the 2020 season did not count against his eligibility.  Therefore Rourke has one year of eligibility remaining. Michigan interim coach Phil Martelli walked away highly impressed with Indiana frontcourt duo Kel’el Ware and Malik Reneau. Indiana’s trip to Atlanta this weekend to face Auburn will be a journey back home for some, and a trip down memory lane for head coach Mike Woodson. Woodson spent six seasons (2004-2010) as the head coach of the Atlanta Hawks. The stars are aligning for Indiana’s marquee matchup with Kansas. Class of 2025 5-star forward Bryson Tiller will visit Indiana the weekend of Dec. 16 when the Hoosiers face the Jayhawks, 247Sports national analyst Eric Bossi has reported.  That’s a visit that has been penciled in by Tiller for a couple months, according to TDH sources. Tiller will visit Kansas the weekend prior. Indiana offered Tiller nearly two years ago — in January, 2022. He has more than 20 high major offers in total. Indiana will have a new starting quarterback when the Curt Cignetti era kicks off in 2024. Brendan Sorsby announced he was entering the transfer portal before IU announced Cignetti as its next head coach, so it seemed plausible he could return to Bloomington. But Sorsby announced on Wednesday he is transferring to Cincinnati. Sorsby started the last six games of the season and appeared in 10 contests for the Hoosiers in 2023. For this first time since 2018-19, Indiana is 2-0 in the Big Ten after a December road win in league play at Michigan. ANN ARBOR — Indiana defeated Michigan 78-75 at Crisler Center on Tuesday evening.  The win was the Hoosiers’ fourth straight over the Wolverines. IU trailed 39-37 at halftime.  They were led in the game by Malik Reneau with 15 points.  Kel’el Ware added 13 and Mackenzie Mgbako chipped in 11.
