Indiana basketball will get a visit from the highest-ranked class of 2028 player in Illinois this weekend.
Bolingbrook, Ill. based sophomore guard Brady Pettigrew will be in Bloomington according Sam Kayser.
In the very early 2028 rankings, Pettigrew is No. 15 in the class and a 5-star at ESPN, and No. 19 in the class and a 4-star at Rivals.
Pettigrew comes from a very athletic family. His mother Bonnie Bremner-Pettigrew was an All-American, the Big Ten Player of the Year and Big Ten Freshman of the Year during her volleyball career at Penn State, where she was the setter for a national championship team. His father Titcus Pettigrew played football and basketball for the Nittany Lions. His brother Trey played basketball collegiately at Eastern Michigan, and his brother JT plays at Valpo.
Pettigrew spent the summer on the Nike EYBL Circuit with the Chicago-based MeanStreets 15u team.
Thus far Pettigrew has offers from Texas A&M, USC, UNLV, Florida State, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Murray State, Nevada, Northern Illinois, Penn State and Western Illinois.
