Watch below spring highlights of class of 2026 IU basketball recruiting target Tay Kinney.
On the Adidas 3SSB Circuit this spring, Kinney is averaging 19.8 points and 4.3 assists this year playing for Wildcat Select. Adidas recently announced its eight-person 2025 high school NIL class, which included Kinney. Indiana, of course, is an Adidas school.
The 4-star guard is ranked No. 17 in the 2026 class overall. The 6-foot-2 Kinney is a Kentucky native who attends Overtime Elite for high school in Atlanta.
Originally offered by the previous staff and re-offered by the new staff, Kinney has been on the IU campus multiple times. Indiana is trying to bring him back for one of his summer/fall official visits.
