4-star freshman safety Byron Baldwin will have the opportunity to make his college debut on Saturday against Michigan State.
On IU’s injury report through each of the first six games, Baldwin is available on Saturday and on the field warming up. Baldwin appeared to have a chance to play meaningful snaps coming out of fall camp.
Indiana has a steady starting contingent at safety, with Louis Moore, Amare Ferrell and Devan Boykin seeing almost all of the snaps for the No. 3 Hoosiers so far in 2025.
But Indiana lacks depth on the back end of their defense, especially after losing veteran Bryson Bonds to injury for the season in week one. So at the very least Baldwin will provide depth.
Indiana has no surprises on their injury report for the Michigan State game.
The Spartans have a lengthy list of injured players. The full report for both teams is below.
No. 3 Indiana (6-0, 3-0) and MSU (3-3, 0-3) kick at 3:30 p.m. ET at Memorial Stadium (Peacock).
