Indiana is getting a visit from 7-foot-3 Italian center Luigi Suigo next week, June 17.
That’s according to a report by Joe Tipton of On3.
Suigo is visiting Purdue the day before. He visited Illinois in February. Tipton is also reporting BYU, Kentucky, Louisville, and Texas A&M are among the other schools involved.
Suigo is in the class of 2026 and not currently ranked. He’s a 4-star prospect according to Tipton.
There is potential Suigo can reclass and join a U.S. college program for the 2025-26 season. Indiana has a strong need for length, and head coach Darian DeVries has said IU is still recruiting to complete the roster for the upcoming season.
This season in the Adidas NextGen Euro League, Suigo averaged 14.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game while shooting 25/34 from the floor.
The 18-year-old has also played for the Italian national team in his age group.
Suigo played most recently for Olimpia Milano, a professional basketball club based in Milan, Italy.
