Former IU basketball star Trayce Jackson’s time with Golden State has come to an end.
According to a report by ESPN’s Shams Charania, he has been traded.
“The Golden State Warriors have traded center Trayce Jackson-Davis to the Toronto Raptors for a 2026 second-round pick via the Lakers, sources tell ESPN,” Charania wrote on X.
TJD is in the middle of his third NBA season, all with Golden State until this evening. His minutes and production have dropped off this season.
Through 36 games in 2025-26 with one start, Jackson-Davis is averaging 4.2 points and 3.1 rebounds over 11.4 minutes per contest. He averaged 6.6 points and 5.0 rebounds in 15.6 minutes in 2024-25, and 7.9 points and 5.0 rebounds in 16.6 minutes as a rookie in 2023-24.
Jackson-Davis will live on in Indiana’s record book for a long time. He’s IU’s all-time leading shot-blocker (270) and rebounder (1,143). He finished third on the program’s all-time scoring list with 2,258 career points — and he’s just the sixth Hoosier to top 2,000.
